|This is a group for DA members who have their own original characters from the Jak and Daxter universe. The Precursor Legacy, Renegade (or Jak II to some), Daxter, Outcast, Combat Racing, and the Lost Frontier; with hopefully more games to come! All Jak and Daxter OC's are welcome.|
If you submit artwork to the club be sure that the characters contained in them pertain to Jak and Daxter. Be they Elves, Yakows, Monkaws, Precursors, or even Metal Heads, they must be your creation. No non-Jak and Daxter related beings will be permitted. Thank you.
Hello everyone! Time to announce the match up for our Written, and Cold Character Swap!
THE MATCH UP
's Kali and 's Elana
These works will be due by December 15th, at 11pm! That's three weeks!
If you have any questions or otherwise along the way, feel free to note me, Oteibilitz, and I will assist to the best of my ability!
The same basic Character Swap rules apply; the main difference being that these are written trades rather than drawn ones. I will post them here again, for easy referencing!
As far as length goes, the minimum should be about 1,000 words. There is no maximum. If you want to write a multi-chapter Swap, by all means! Just make sure it's in on time and follows the parameters!
You are allowed to draw accompanying art for your Swap if you are so inclined, but keep in mind that the written portion is your main focus. That is where most if not all of your effort should be focused. (Also, your partner does not owe you any return art if you choose to do this)
Be sure to stay within the group and site's rules in regards to the content you're typing out, and use the mature filters if needed. If you are unsure whether something you want to include in your piece is against any of these rules, or might be too mature in any sense, note the group and we'll let you know!
To the best of your ability, try to keep your partner's character in character.
Be respectful of your partner and their character.
All that being re-said, the theme is still Cold, and you still have a variety of ways to interpret it!
This can be involving the temperature of something, a disposition or feeling of something/someone, getting past the cold, even the lacking of cold where it should be, etc-point is, you have options, haha Have fun with it!
And if you'd like to suggest a theme for a future Swap-drawn or written-feel free to do so by leave a comment on the Theme Suggestions Journal.

If you want to have a say for the future of these Swaps, then head on over to this Questionnaire; answer some questions, leave your own, and/or express any ideas, comments, concerns, or otherwise that you may have!
Do you like writing? Would you be interested in running our mini Written Contest, the Scriven Inscribbler? Then take a look here!
Also don't forget, we still have the Getting to Know You OC Personality Pageant running! We are approaching the final round, but you can join in at any time before the end end (Round 5!), win great prizes, and share your characters and their stories with the group, and quite possibly, the WORLD!
